Payments
We accept many payments for your convenience. These include check, Venmo, Google wallet, PayPal, and credit cards through Square IOS. Payments are due in full by the morning of the first scheduled pet sit.
Vacation pet visits
We have a required minimum of one pet visit per day when the owner is on vacation.
Meet and greets
Meet and greets are a requirement of doing business with Pet-Unity. We will meet with you at a convenient time and learn information about yourself and your pets. During the process we will also have you fill out our client forms.
Cancellations
Cancellations under 12 hours are nonrefundable while cancellations under 24 hours but more than 12 hours will receive a 50 % refund.
Holidays
There is a 10$ service fee on Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Easter.
Keys
We ask for a key during the meet and greet or a valid electronic key code for door entry. The key can be left at your property on the final day at no extra charge or held onto. There is a key return fee of 15$ if this occurs after the final visit.
Medications
Medicines can be administered at no extra cost to the client but all prescribed medications must be in original pill containers with current Vet listed on them.
Medical emergencies
In the case of a medical emergency the pet sitter will do everything to get in touch with the pet owner to inform about the situation. If the pet sitter deems it necessary they will bring the pet to the pet E.R. or other animal hospital.
Boarding
For boarding we include a pick up and drop off option. We only board current clients and do not give home tours of the residence. Upon scheduling a boarding animals are properly introduced to ensure their safety and make sure they are friendly to other pets. We ask for bowls, food, kennels and any medications to be provided by the time of boarding.
Vacation returns
It is important to let the Pet-Sitter know when you are going to be late for returning or if you will need to add additional pet visits due to flight cancellations or travel plans. Any additional days added will be charged at the regular rate.
Short notice
Short notice bookings less than 24 hours may be charged an extra service charge on top of the regular pricing costs (this would be mentioned or addressed in advance and will not come as a surprise).
Time estimates
Set times are estimated but we try our best to get there by your preferred time. After arrival the visiting time also may vary a little by its length.
